Cristiano Ronaldo, not new to record-breaking feats picked up yet another award as he officially became the person with the most national team wins in professional football.

The accolade came after Portugal's emphatic 5-2 triumph over Poland in UEFA Nations League action Sunday.

Despite missing a penalty, Ronaldo played a pivotal role by netting two goals with ease.

The victory marked the 132nd win on the international stage for the 40-year-old, allowing him to eclipse Sergio Ramos, a former teammate at Real Madrid in this prestigious category.

Ronaldo is not new to Guinness World Records.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner already holds three; for scoring the most international goals, the first player to score 100 UEFA Champions League goals, and being the most-followed person on Instagram.

Ronaldo has played 217 times for Portugal.

In the Nations League last four to be held June 4 and 5, Germany will take on Portugal, with France tackling Spain. The final will be played 8 June 2025.
