Senate Committee questions Bomet County’s handling of climate funding

Senate flags millions in missing Nandi County funds, demands accountability

Auditors reported a Sh 7.23 million error in the Climate Change Fund, which officials called a "bookkeeping error" involving a building asset. Senators also flagged water projects in Kiropket, Kiptenden, and Kapkawa, noting they were built on private land without proper titles, putting public resources at risk.
