MPs back regulations establishing Sh2 billion Public Prosecutions Fund

Director of Public Prosecutions Renson Ingonga said having a dedicated fund for prosecution work will improve the efficiency of the justice system by ensuring that prosecutors have the resources required to pursue cases and support anti corruption initiatives.

DPP calls for stronger continental collaboration on witness protection

Speaking at the 3rd Regional Africa Witness Protection Association Conference, Ingonga said stronger coordination among African states was essential to strengthening justice systems and ensuring that witnesses are protected from intimidation and retaliation.
