Ndindi Nyoro pushes for Sh100bn travel budget cut to ease fuel prices

Apart from cutting travel expenditure, Nyoro proposed the removal of the 8 per cent VAT charged on fuel and called for a reduction of at least Sh7 from the Road Maintenance Levy Fund.

Ndindi Nyoro proposes tax cuts, subsidies to lower fuel prices

Nyoro further questioned the impact of previous tax changes, especially adjustments on Value Added Tax, saying they have not translated into lower pump prices.
