Nominated Senator Tabitha Mutinda has emphasized on delivering concrete solutions for Nairobi residents.

Speaking on Friday on Radio Generation, she plans to support women’s groups across Nairobi, enabling them to develop income-generating projects and become self-reliant.

“My ambition for Woman Rep is to continue empowering women,” she stated, emphasizing her commitment to practical programs that transform lives.

“We need to have the men in the room. We’ve really empowered the girl child so much, we’ve forgotten the boy child,” she explained. A key legislative initiative she plans to pursue is the Land Amendment Bill, designed to limit land cases to two years.

“People have suffered years in, years out. Let’s get done,” she said. By streamlining legal processes, Mutinda seeks to reduce unnecessary delays, prevent prolonged suffering for families, and create a more equitable justice system.
Beyond legislation, Mutinda has demonstrated a hands-on approach to community solutions. As nominated senators do not receive project funding, she has used personal resources to finance local initiatives, women-led groups, and youth programs.
