First Lady Rachel Ruto has sent a heartfelt birthday message to President William Ruto, praising his dedication to the country and his tireless service to the Kenyan people.
In a message shared on social media, Mama Rachel described the president as a man of courage, discipline, and unwavering commitment.
“My dear Bill, happy birthday! Today, I thank God for the gift of your life, for the journey we have walked together, for your courage in moments of uncertainty, and for the steady love and discipline with which you carry the weight of leadership,” she wrote.
She went on to commend Ruto’s devotion to the nation, noting that his efforts often go unrecognised.
“I have seen your heart for Kenya, your tireless commitment to serve, and the quiet sacrifices that often go unseen,” Mama Rachel added, highlighting both his public service and personal dedication.
The First Lady also extended prayers for the president’s continued well-being, urging God to bless him with strength, health, and wisdom as he leads the country.
“As you mark another year, my prayer is that God grants you good health, inner peace, and renewed strength. May He surround you with wisdom, protect your steps, and reward your labour with hope for our nation and joy in our family,” she said.
Mama Rachel concluded her message with a tribute not only to Ruto’s leadership, but also to his role within their family.
“With all my love and gratitude, I celebrate you, not only as a leader, a father and a husband, but as the man God has entrusted to us,” she wrote.
The birthday message comes as President Ruto turns 58.
Several leaders from across the political divide have also taken turns to wish the President a happy birthday.
