Naiyanoi Ntutu, wife of the late Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ng’eno, has paid a heartfelt tribute to her husband, remembering him as the love of her youth and a devoted father during his requiem mass at AGC Church in Karen, Nairobi.

“To my beloved, Johar, the husband of my youth… you are the love of my early days when everything was still soft and full of possibility,” Ntutu said, recalling how his presence made life’s uncertainties “less frightening and more beautiful.”

She reflected on the joy he brought to ordinary days, adding, “Your love made ordinary days feel like celebration. I can still hear it. I think I always will.”

Ntutu also highlighted his devotion to their children. “The way you loved your children, you adored them. You held them with pride. You played with them. You looked at them like they were your greatest accomplishments. In their eyes, you were a hero. In mine, you were a gentle, devoted father with the biggest heart,” she said, describing his parenting as both tender and inspiring.

Speaking about the pain of her loss, she said, “Losing you feels like losing the music of my youth, the laughter, the dreams, the simplicity of believing we had endless time.” Yet, she affirmed that the bond they shared would endure, noting, “But even death cannot take what we built.”
