The decisions affect institutions in defence, sports, agriculture, trade, education, energy and county administration, ushering in both returning and new office holders across strategic boards and councils.
The latest changes were led by Soipan Tuya in the defence ministry. She re-appointed Edward Cherop Kimosop to continue serving as a member of the Advisory Committee on Military Veterans for another three years, starting May 2, 2026.
The official notice stated:
''In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 (2) (c) of the Military Veterans Act, the Defence Council re-appoints Lt.Col. (Rtd) Edward Cherop Kimosop as a Member of the Advisory Committee on Military Veterans, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from May 2, 2026,'' read part of the notice.

The appointments and renewals reflect a broad reshaping of leadership across national and county institutions, touching sectors that oversee security, culture, agriculture, trade, training and energy. With the General Elections drawing closer, the changes place both experienced and newly appointed officials at the helm of agencies that play central roles in public service and policy implementation.
