Tatu City has unveiled Porini Point, a new residential development offering modern apartments with panoramic views of the 160-acre Tatu Wildlife Sanctuary.
With units priced from Sh7.5 million, the project has already recorded strong buyer enthusiasm, with the first phase selling out on launch night.
The development features 570 apartments across 24 buildings, totalling 58,000 square metres of built-up area. Designed to exceed prevailing market standards, Porini Point offers spacious layouts, high-quality finishes, and a design concept that blends urban living with natural tranquillity.
The launch comes as Tatu City’s population surpasses 6,000 residents, with housing demand outpacing supply due to the city’s secure and well-serviced environment.
Located on a hillside overlooking the planned wildlife sanctuary billed as the world’s only urban reserve of its kind, Porini Point offers residents an immersive experience in nature, with access to indigenous flora and fauna, a safari lodge, cultural spaces, and conservation facilities. The development’s private balconies and landscaped courtyards further enhance the connection between home and nature.
“Porini Point is designed to give people more: more space, more greenery, and more convenience,” said Preston Mendenhall, Group COO and Country Head, Kenya, at Rendeavour, the owner and developer of Tatu City.
“At an accessible price for families and savvy investors, Porini Point is a place where you can slow down, reconnect, and still be steps away from schools, healthcare, retail, parks, and infrastructure that always works.”
Buyers can choose from one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments ranging from 54 to 145 square metres.
Each home includes a fitted kitchen with integrated appliances, quartz countertops, SPC parquet flooring, contemporary bathrooms, and abundant natural lighting.
Amenities include a clubhouse, gym, swimming pool, barbecue areas, a children’s play zone, ample parking, and round-the-clock CCTV surveillance.
Porini Point is integrated into Tatu City’s broader lifestyle ecosystem, supported by more than 15 years of infrastructure investment. Residents benefit from 24/7 potable water, 99.7% power uptime, high-speed internet, and 70 kilometres of international-standard roads.
Flexible 24-month payment plans, cash incentives, and Sharia-compliant financing options aim to support diverse buyers, including diaspora investors who receive dedicated concierge assistance.
Rental yields at Porini Point are projected to reach up to 18%, based on market conditions.
Previous residential developments in Tatu City — including Kijani Ridge, which has appreciated more than 346% in 10 years, and Jabali Towers, which grew 13.5% in six months — have boosted investor confidence.
Construction of the first Porini Point units is expected to conclude by Q1 2027, with full project completion slated for September 2029.
The development is projected to generate approximately 500 direct and 1,500 indirect jobs during construction, with additional opportunities in hospitality and property management.
The launch event featured performances by Kora Award-winning Burundian-Kenyan artist Kidum and DJ John Rabar of Homeboyz Entertainment.
Tatu City, a 5,000-acre mixed-use development located 30 minutes from Nairobi, is Kenya’s first operational Special Economic Zone and home to more than 100 businesses and tens of thousands of daily visitors.
Porini Point adds to the city’s expanding residential offering, reinforcing its position as one of Africa’s most progressive new urban centres.
