In Summary

In Group B, Kenya Pipeline VC leads a strong field featuring La Loi (DR Congo), Sococim (Senegal), Kalibi Sporting Club (Ghana), and Gender Light (Burundi).

Kenyan clubs Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), and Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) have been fairly drawn in the group stage fixtures for the 2026 African Women’s Volleyball Club Championships, which were unveiled on Sunday in Cairo.

Defending champions Al Ahly headline Group A, where they will face Mayo Kani (Cameroon), C.O. Descartes (Côte d’Ivoire), and National Alcohol Factory (Ethiopia). With their strong pedigree and home support, Al Ahly will be the favorites, but the group promises no easy matches.

In Group B, Kenya Pipeline VC leads a strong field featuring La Loi (DR Congo), Sococim (Senegal), Kalibi Sporting Club (Ghana), and Gender Light (Burundi).

Group C appears to be one of the most balanced pools, with C.F. Carthage (Tunisia) drawn alongside Nigeria Customs Service, DCI (Kenya), Kampala Capital City Authority (Uganda), and Eagles of Congo (DR Congo). With multiple teams capable of progressing, this group could produce some of the tournament’s most unpredictable results.

Meanwhile, Group D features two-time continental champions KCB, who will be aiming to assert their dominance early. However, they will face stiff competition from Letto Team (Cameroon), Vipers and Partners (Nigeria), and ARSU (Seychelles).

With teams representing every corner of Africa, the championship promises high-level volleyball, intense rivalries, and a celebration of the sport’s growing strength across the continent.

As the action gets underway, all eyes will be on Cairo to see which clubs rise above the rest and move a step closer to continental supremacy in a championship running until April 24, 2026.
