Six people have died after a helicopter crashed and burst into flames in Chepkieb area of Mosop Sub-county, Nandi County, on Saturday. The accident happened at about 4:45pm.
Nandi County Police Commander Samuel Mukuusi confirmed that six people were killed in the crash. He said the identities of those who died are yet to be confirmed.
The helicopter went down in Chepkieb before catching fire. Details surrounding the incident remain limited.

Authorities have not released further information about the victims as identification is still pending. Emergency teams responded to the scene after the incident.
