Defending champions Kabras RFC stretched their unbeaten run in the Kenya Cup with a hard-fought 25-8 victory over stubborn Nondies RFC at the ASK Kakamega Showground on Saturday, as KCB handed Menengai Oilers their first defeat, beating them at home 25-15.
Speaking from the Nakuru Athletics Club, Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) head coach Andrew Amonde hailed his charges after the Oilers' win, insisting that they have to make the playoffs, and that's their objective.
"The boys really gave a good shift. We are coming and closing in on points for those ones who are in front of us. We are going to push up to the last minute," promised Amonde.
