Moses Olukohe Ndale and Harriet Achieng Okach will compete for the position of KRU Chairperson.
He will serve for a period of 14 days pending the election of a new Chairperson to replace the departed Sasha Mutai.
Mutai resigned in a huff on Friday at the Rugby Football Union of East Africa RFUEA Grounds, claiming that he had been ambushed by fellow board members over a number of issues regarding integrity.
The board meeting, which was held on 6 March 2025, declared a vote of no confidence against former Kenya Harlequins boss Mutai for various reasons, leaning towards abuse of office.
