As young filmmakers, they never imagined a routine day of reviewing footage would lead to an arrest that would shake them to their core.
The arrest was carried out by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) after the suspect was flagged for a routine check as she prepared to board her flight.
The arrest followed response by Lokichogio police officers to a tip-off from members of the public.
