IGAD warns East Africa against delayed disaster response as climate risks intensify
IGAD Executive Secretary Workneh Gebeyehu said governments and development partners must ensure resources are available before disasters strike, instead of waiting until lives, livelihoods and infrastructure have been destroyed.
