Speaking on Thursday, Principal Secretary Paul Ronoh said the government remains committed to supporting tea farmers through both immediate and long-term measures.
Ronoh underscored the urgency of reinforcing the regulatory framework governing tea production and marketing.
In addition to the banned and restricted pesticides, another 151 products remain under review and are currently prohibited from use or importation. A final decision on their status is expected by December 2025.
