Karan Patel headlines the Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Racing Team, which will field five crews at the 2026 Rwanda Mountain Gorilla Rally as the FIA African Rally Championship (ARC) heads into another crucial round from July 10–12, 2026.

Patel, who will once again be navigated by Tauseef Khan, heads to Kigali in a confident mood after an outstanding start to the 2026 season.

The reigning champion currently tops the ARC standings with 83 points after securing a third consecutive Pearl of Africa Uganda Rally title earlier this year. He also collected maximum ARC points at the Safari Rally Kenya, further strengthening his championship lead.

Joining the KCB contingent in Rwanda are Nikhil Sachania and co-driver Deep Patel, Tinashe Gatimu and her mother Caroline Gatimu, Oscar Ntambi and his long-time navigator Muhamadi Uthumaan, as well as Rwanda's Queen Kalimpinya, who will compete alongside experienced co-driver and mechanic Olivier Ngabo.

The event begins with the ceremonial start at the Kigali Convention Centre, followed by three days of competitive gravel special stages held primarily in the Bugesera District.
