A light aircraft crashed and burst into flames in Ikanga village, Voi, Taita Taveta with two people onboard the plane feared dead.
Pictures seen by Radio Generation Kenya shows the light aircraft up in flames as shocked residents mill around the scene.
Firefighters from the Taita Taveta Fire Rescue Team responded to the incident and managed to put out the blaze.

A witness on the scene, Abdikadir Salim, said the plane unsuccessfully tried to avoid power lines and trees but instead hit another tree before bursting into flames.
The St John Ambulance said on X that two people lost their lives in the incident adding their responders, police, and firefighters responded to the tragedy.
"Our deepest sympathies to the families affected," said the Ambulance service.
The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, the primary authority on matters aircraft accidents within the Kenyan airspace has not yet issued an official statement on the incident.
