National football side Harambee Stars began their CHAN 2024 journey on a high, securing a gritty 1-0 win over DR Congo at a full-capacity Kasarani Stadium on Sunday evening, August 3, 2025.
The decisive goal came in first-half stoppage time, courtesy of Gor Mahia’s midfield maestro Austine Odhiambo, who finished off a well-worked team move to give Kenya the lead.
