How TikToker Liz Kamene died in tragic incident

Kenyans online have reacted with shock and anger over the tragic death of TikToker Liz Kamene who died in a hit-and-run accident near Kariobangi Roundabout, Nairobi.

According to reports, Kamene was using her phone when a thief snatched it and fled. In an attempt to chase after the culprit, she was struck by a speeding vehicle that failed to stop.

The impact of the accident was severe, resulting in the loss of both a leg and an arm.

Many Kenyans have expressed outrage over the fact that those who initially arrived at the scene did not cover her, leaving her exposed.

In a post on Facebook a group dubbed Jukwaa La Siasa Mathare said Liz's death leaves a void that words cannot fill.

"With profound sorrow, we bid farewell to Liz Kamene, a young woman whose life was filled with promise, kindness, and an unbreakable spirit," the group posted.

"She was a beacon of joy, always wearing a smile that could brighten the darkest days. Her determination and hard work inspired many, and her dreams were destined to shape a better future."

The TikToker boasted of 48,000 followers and more than 318,000 likes on the platform.
